Jieun Park ist eine junge Künstlerin aus Südkorea. Nach dem Studium an der Chanbuk National Universität studierte sie in München bei Jorinde Voigt und erhielt ihr Diplom im 2021. Jieun Park hat die «Forest Series» im Rahmen ihrer Diplomausstellung gezeigt und seither am Thema Wald weitergearbeitet. Sie findet eine Vielfalt von Kreaturen im Wald – Bäume, andere Pflanzen, Tiere, Insekten bis hin zu Mikroben. Oberflächlich sind sie alle einzeln und alleine. In Realität sind sie alle miteinander durch das Ökosystem verbunden. Nichts könnte alleine überleben. In dieser Ausstellung zeigt sie zwei Wälder – «Ihren Wald» und «einen Wald».
